hi Ej !!! do you still work on a mac or pc is octane can run on a i mac ??
Hi there! I’m running a trash can mac Pro using an eGPU setup!
Great tut EJ! Do you have a link to that awesome grunge texture?
EJ – great tutes as always ! Just out of interest – what eGPU are you using ? I need one for my Mac ;0)
Absolutely the best option if you can afford it… Pc’s are the second best option, though I have been a Mac-man since 1988…
Afford the eGPU? If you’re buying a PC you’re going to be shelling out the money for the GPU card anyways, so the eGPU box is only a few hundred bucks which isn’t bad! And you could always use it with a laptop, etc!
Thanks Philip! I’m using a Sonnet Breakaway box! Works great! http://www.sonnettech.com/product/egfx-breakaway-box
