Hey EJ, great tutorial thank you.
I always wondered what the pickle was for. Very helpful info on the point cache and the order of operations – might be what I am currently having a problem with.
Thanks EJ, very helpful. Would like to know your thoughts and if possible a tut breaking down the kind of animation Ori Toor is doing here. The second loop is the one I am referring to.

Thanks for watching!
Oritoor says he is a 2D animator and it looks as if his work is done in After Effects. EJ tackles this in his tutorial here: http://www.eyedesyn.com/tutorials/creating-noise-textures-in-after-effects/
Hi EJ,
thanks for let us know about this great timesaver !!!!
You bet! Thanks for watching, Bjoern!
Ej, This tutorial is a huge game changer thanks for the tutorial!
Might be interesting to try the correction deformer with pose morph!
Totally! Pose Morph storing point deformations would be super useful!
Great tutorial, thanks! I am struggling to get the technique to work when trying to apply different materials to polygon selections on the fillet cap. I resorted to using the C2 selection tag to change the colour of the cap, but I really wanted to apply multiple materials to different areas of the cap, and the Correction Deforemer didn’t allow this…any idea what I’m doing wrong? (total C4D n00b)
So you need to apply the Polygon Selection tag from the Correction Deformer and moving it to the object mesh you want to select the polygons on! I cover that in the tutorial, hope it helps!
Thanks – yes it works fine on the object mesh UNLESS I try to use a selection from the object CAPS. It is the filet cap that I want to modify, and I can’t do this using your technique, I have to use the C1,C2 etc selection tags, which are limiting. I have Create Single Object ticked. Am I missing something? Thanks man!
How did you set these beautiful colors, please? It has different coloring on the edges, i am not able to find it.
i believe i covered how you can use material selections (C1,C2,R1,R2) to be able to get those other colors on the edges!
