Hello, EJ! Great tut, as always. I was wondering if you could share your alpha settings(and Anti-Aliasing, if you used Standard)for this render in C4D. No matter what I do with the alpha, I get borders that force me to choke in AE. Thanks for your time.
Thanks Leo! For AA, I use the Sinc filter for sharper, less blurry edges. For Alpha, I render Straight and don’t seem to have an issue with the borders. Hope that helps!
This was great!
would love if you did a complete project like this from beginning till the end!
can you explain the take system in this context more clearly? you kinda glossed over it…
I plan on explaining it in more depth in the future, I wanted to stay mainly in After Effects for this tutorial, which is why I didn’t spend too much time on the Take System.
hi sir can you please tell me how you animate eyes and blink and stretch animation of whole glass
I will show you in a future tutorial!
Download Coffee Cup link?
Nope, sorry! But it’s fairly easy to make on your own, give it a try!
Are you interpreting your alpha properly in AE? Under File-Interpret Footage. If you rendered premultiplied and set the interpretation to match you shouldn’t have a border problem. Definitely shouldn’t need to choke a CG generated alpha.
