Here’s a model I whipped up awhile ago for a basketball spot, now available for you to use with whatever you want! Use some Camera Tracker and 3D track this jumbotron in your living room. Or whatever. Just switch out my eyedesyn logo textures and put in whatever video or animation in. This file is compatible with R13 and I also included an .OBJ file for those with R12 and below or any other 3D software. Have fun!
Add a nice chiseled look to your text in Cinema 4D with this tutorial. As I note in the video, the basic technique is the same across every font, letter, and even logos, but each one has it’s a unique way to get to the end result. Here I show you the basics of how you can achieve this look for whatever text or logo you are working with.
If you have any questions or requests of how to do this effect on a logo or some other font, please leave them in the comment section.
Don’t be limited by the Convex, Linear, and Engraved Filet Cap edges in MoType anymore. In my first ever tutorial, I show you how to use a different fast and easy method to unlock more potential in your text designs in Cinema 4D.
Finally got around to putting out my 2012 (more like 2011) reel. This is a collection of what I’ve been hard at work on over the past year or so. I’ve got to say in 2011 I learned a lot, worked on some of the coolest projects yet, and met a ton of very cool people in the industry, and 2012 is looking to be even better year! I appreciate all of you who have visited my newly update blog over the past few months and I hope you’ll stay tuned in the coming weeks and months. I plan on putting out some Cinema 4D tutorials and some more free stuff! Here’s to 2012! Keep on learnin and hustlin!
Another free Cinema4D model for you today, this one is of a metal scaffolding/girder. I used this in a industrial looking promo for the an NHL team and figured I’d let all you fine folks mess around with it. Included in the download is a C4D 12 or higher compatible file, along with an .OBJ for those of you stuck in R11 or earlier. Enjoy!
Holiday season isn’t over yet! Here’s some more freebies that you can ring in the new year with! Included in this New Years model pack is a noise maker that is rigged & animated using Xpresso, a party hat, and some streamers. As always, I’ve included .OBJ versions, but unfortunately with the noise maker, the animated Xpresso version won’t be available for those with other 3D programs, but in the OBJ versions, I have included a model of both the noise maker furled & unfurled. Enjoy, and I’ll see you in 2012!
It’s 25 days until Christmas, so here are 25 holiday ornament shaders for Cinema 4D to help you pass time until Christmas! Included in this pack are a ornament bulb model, all the textures I made for the pack with the .lib4d so you can just put it into your “browser” folder and it should show up in your Content Browser. You can mix and match colors and textures to produce over 40 combinations of ornaments! Enjoy!
Disclaimer: There were a couple of these textures where I used Biomekk’s EnhanceC4D, so let me know if it’s giving you errors. If it is, I’m assuming you need to buy EnhanceC4D from Biomekk.com for it to work.
Thanks to @ridvanmaloku from Plastic-Pistols.com for allowing me to use his tree model. He did an awesome tutorial on how he made his Christmas tree using Cinema 4D’s Hair module. Check it out here: Tree Tutorial
Tis the season! Here are 4 free Cinema 4D models for use in your holiday animations this season! You’ll get the 4 models (ornament, 2 bows, tree lights) along with the .OBJ format versions for people using other 3D programs and earlier versions of Cinema 4D. Included in the files are the HDRI textures I used for some of the nice reflections. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
You can play with this ding-a-ling, for free! R12 and above compatible .c4d file along with an .OBJ that can be used with pretty much any version of C4D or even 3DSMAX, etc.
